Summer financial aid is extremely limited. As a rule, a student’s eligibility for summer financial aid is limited to Pell Grant or remaining Direct Stafford Loan eligibility from the 2017-2018 academic year. In addition, Graduate/Law students or parents of dependent students have the option to apply for Federal Direct PLUS Loans (creditworthiness required).
**New for Summer Session 2018**
Pell Grant eligible undergraduate students who have used their full-time allocations of Pell grant funding for Fall and Spring semesters (17-18) may be eligible for Pell grant funds for the summer session. To receive this additional Pell Grant funding for the summer session, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for summer session (in addition to the normal Pell Grant requirements) and complete a 2018 summer financial aid application on Vandal Web. Additional Pell Grant received for the summer session counts towards a student’s lifetime Pell Grant eligibility.
Summer 2018 Session Fees: Summer Session fees are charged per credit hour at the same rate for residents and non-residents.
